General
- You must have respect for each and every member. I don't care if you're staff, or if you've just joined, but a little courtesy goes a long way.
- I suppose some swearing is allowed, but please don't go overboard. It doesn't make you look all that clever.
- Don't post any offensive images, whether they be pornographic, explicitly violent... You get the idea!
- OOC chat stays in the OOC boards. But I figured that would have been obvious.
- All content on this site is copywrited to Battaglia Canina. Stealing anything from pictures to things like the rules will be taken very seriously indeed.
- You can have 4 characters per account, and you can have as many accounts as you like. If you want to have less than 4 characters on your account, then that's fine too.
Characters
- Obviously, this is a dog/wolf crossover roleplay. Therefore, you can have either a dog or a wolf as a character! (Although that's pretty self explanatory) The plot generally says the two species must hate each other, but you can have a dog that likes wolves/a wolf that likes dogs if you want. But they must face the consequences should their thoughts be found out.
- No abstract colours or patterns can be used for characters. So no luminescent green and pink leopard print canines, I'm afraid. This also means you can't have a character who was dyed by a previous owner, or whatever, because this can be used as an excuse.
- Jewelry is also not allowed on the canines. They can wear a collar if it has something to do with their history, though.
- All characters have to die in the end. It's sad, I know, but they can't live forever.
- No magical powers or physic abilities. I'm sure you're getting the drift of it by now!
Roleplaying
- There is no limit to how much or how little you post. Here, we want to help you improve your roleplaying. It would help if you could try and avoid one-liners, though.
- Pay attention to the seasons! If you describe blistering snow-storms in the middle of summer, I'll know you're neglecting this rule.
- No powerplaying or godmodding. There is a guide to these later in the rules.
Whelping
- NO graphic mating WHATSOEVER. Don't even roleplay it out if you can help it! I know it makes it more realistic or whatever, but you know... Canines don't actually talk.
- Post in 'The Windmill' using the form found inside when you want some pups.
- Births can only happen in spring. Sorry if this means you'll have to wait!
- Staff only will give out the litters. If it's a staff member wanting a litter, simply another staff member will give them one.
- Don't complain about the pups! After all, I'm sure whoever gave you the litter worked hard to find pictures.
- You can't roleplay your own mate. Sorry.
- Also, please don't make a character who is already pregnant just so you can get some pups.
Fighting
- Fights can occur over anything you want, from a pack to just pride.
- Again, no powerplaying or godmodding.
- I know it's unrealistic, but for the sake of fairness things like a chihuahua beating a wolf can happen on this site. Otherwise people will only be making the larger breeds.
- A male can fight a female, a pup can fight an adult, there can be two against one... Yeah.
- Fights are judged by staff, and the winner is decided by who is simply the better roleplayer.
- If there are lots of people questioning the outcome, another staff member can be called for a re-judge.
- If you don't reply to the fight after 3 days, with no message in the 'Away' board, you will automatically loose.
Warnings & Bans
- The warning system is as follows:
- 1 Warning - 20% on your warning bar
- 2 Warnings - 40& on your warning bar
- 3 Warnings - 60% on your warning bar
- 4 Warnings - 80% on your warning bar and a 3 day ban
- 5 Warnings - Total banning from the site
- You can get a warning for:
- Powerplaying or godmodding
- Being needlessly rude to another member
- Posting inappropriate images
- Smiting someone constantly with no good reason
- Spamming the site or CBox
